The Mushroom Initiative Limited is an environmental NGO in Hong Kong. We focus on climate change mitigation and soil regeneration. We believe that as part of nature, we should respect nature and act to protect our environment. We are looking for a full-time project officer for our current project that develops and promotes a nutrient spectrometer.
We are looking for you if you:
- share our belief and commitment in environmental and climate change issues,
- possess a Bachelor degree preferably in science, ecology or environmental science, etc.
- are independent, meticulous, willing to take challenges, open-minded and passionate in learning new things,
- have minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in project coordination and management/ campaigning, particularly in relation to environmental protection
- have good command of Chinese and English.
You will be working with a team for:
- coordinate mass events, community researcher programme and workshops to promote our project that develops and promotes a nutrient spectrometer,
- maintaining a cloud database on plant nutrient content,
- assist experiments involving wet chemical and spectral analysis techniques, and
- management and administration related to the project.
Work Location: A farm in Tai Po Lam Tsuen and fieldwork in farms
